This piece is one of the personal darlings of Iria Degen. In 2001, she was asked to refurbishe an old private villa. When looking for a large oval dining table as the eye-catching centrepiece, the market at that time didn’t provide anything. Therefore, OVAL came to life. The harmonious form that repeats itself in its central pedestal and the cut-out is not only appealing to the eye but also a democratic statement: an oval table doesn’t have a seating hierarchy. That’s why it is also perfect as a conference desk in office spaces. OVAL has become something like our in-house signature table: We have already used it in several other projects, both private and commercial.
